Originally Dutch Guyana, this beautiful country borders the Caribbean at the top of South America, and has a population which is a mixture of Africans, Indians, Indonesians, Ameri-Indians, Chinese and Europeans. The CDF was begun at their first conference which saw 250 people register for the weekend of workshops. There are several dance groups in the churches, but little contact with the wider world, although CDF Suriname has been reaching out to the countries surrounding it.

Inaugural AGM: June 1993, Dallas, Texas
Current CDF Co-ordinators (joint): Cheryl Esch and Dawn Churchill
In 1991, several meetings were held across the USA to promote the upcoming ICDF Conference in Israel, and a vision for a USA national CDF was shared. In 1992, CDF USA was established at the Movement Arts in Worship Conference in Florida. Pamela Hall, who had represented the USA at the 1991 ICDF Conference in Israel, was elected as the USA Founding National Co-ordinator. The Inaugural AGM was held at the first CDF USA National Conference – "Seeking the Face of God" – in Dallas, Texas, in 1993, and CDF USA was officially chartered into ICDF.
The Fellowship has continued to grow with both individual membership and State Chapters, beginning with Florida and Texas, and followed by other states in the following years. Subsequent National Conferences in 1995 ("Taking Up The Mantle For Your Life"), 1997 ("Touched by the Master's Hand") and 1999 ("Woven Together in Him") 2001 ("Preparing the Way"), 2003 ("Every Tribe and Tongue" for ICDF), 2005 ("Returning our Hearts back to Worship ... Equipping the Saints) all were very well attended, and God's blessings have been evident. CDF USA has been instrumental in the establishment of CDFs in the Carribean.
Formation Scripture:
"I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"
– John 14:6
